Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Comfy! The covered waistband on these is definitely the way to go. Doesn't dig into my son's sides. Washed a few times already and they've held up really well. They don't stretch out during the day like some other underwear we've tried. Size 8 fits great at 57 pounds!

My son is 6 and although I get that undies are supposed to be more snug than clothing, the size 8 clothing I bought for him is pretty big and then these size 8 undies fit him more snug than his size 6 undies. Just something to be aware of.
